Rick is the audit partner for HHH. He graduated from Morehead State University with a BS in Accounting in 1982. Before joining the firm in 1989, he worked for a multi-national accounting firm and for an international corporation. Rick became a partner in 1995. His expertise areas are conducting audits and reviews of corporate financial statements, strategic business planning and evaluation, and analysis of internal accounting controls.

Rick is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Ohio Society of CPAs. He is a member of the Executive Committee of the Board of Trustees and the Vice Chair of the Financial Committee for the Upper Arlington Chamber of Commerce. Rick participates in missionary work all over the United States and parts of South America.

Rick enjoys traveling the world with his wife, Teresa Marie. They especially enjoy San Diego and Santa Fe in the states. When they travel overseas to see their son and his wife in Switzerland, they always try to spend time in Paris, Rick’s favorite city of all. Their other three children and their twelve grand-children live close enough to keep them busy whenever they are home!!

Rick is an avid reader of science fiction and history, especially of Roman times. He loves games of strategy, crossword puzzles, and is a football fan who cheers solely for the Alabama Crimson Tide!! He is also a wine connoisseur with a growing collection of fine wine from which he shares with clients and friends at wine tastings. NICK DIBARTOLOMEO, Tax Partner

Nick graduated from Franklin University in 1990 with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting. He immediately went into public accounting, concentrating in the area of taxation. In 1994 Nick joined the firm, becoming a partner in 2000. Nick specializes in consulting, strategic planning and budgeting services for closely held businesses. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the Ohio Society of CPA’S.

Nick spends his free time traveling as much as possible.  In addition to traveling he enjoys bike riding,golfing and reading . Nick spends most of his down time in Sedona, Arizona with Terri,his wife of 30 years. His daughter Lena has joined them in Sedona where she is teaches middle school,social studies, along with coaching girls basketball. A trip to Chicago is a must(preferably in the summer), in order to see his son, Angelo, where he is busy practicing law.

Nick is an avid sports fan! He “roots” for the Buckeyes and the Bengals!! AND In the Spring, “March Madness” takes over. He cheers for the Cincinnati Reds in the summer!

Nick dreams of visiting all the major baseball parks. He has visited Fenway Park, Wrigley Field, Target Field, Coors Field and, of course  both Cincinnati’s baseball parks, the original,Riverfront Stadium and presently, The Great American Ballpark! He is eager for the list to grow 🙂

 

JAMES PETERS,  Audit Partner

James was born on the island of St. Thomas, USVI.  In 2004, he received his Bachelor of Arts from the University of Virgin Islands.  He would later travel to Ohio and receive his Masters in Accounting from Bowling Green State University in 2005.  He joined HHH as a staff accountant in 2005, became a manager in 2010 and partner in 2015.  James’s areas of expertise include audits and reviews of corporate financial statements, nonprofit organizations and retirement plans. James is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Ohio Society of CPAs.

James shares his life with his wife and their two daughters and one son.  They enjoy traveling. A favorite family destination is Gatlinburg,TN along with as many visits as possible to James’ birthplace, the Virgin Islands, too.  During the summer and fall you may run into the family at one of the central Ohio festivals or fairs.  But, most likely, you will bump into the Peters Family feeding the lorikeets at the Columbus Zoo.
